Love your NXT2excel idea. Are you distributing the source to the PC side of things? I’d like to spend some time to see if I can crank up the speed of the interaction with Excel (I’m only seeing about 2-3 updates per second right now).
Hi,
I was reading into your in-depth coverage of the making and controlling of an inertial measurement unit (IMU), specifically because it’s the only project that uses and IMU for an NXT that I can find. I was just wondering if you had a schematic or something similar, so I could figure out how to connect the 6DOF IMU Combo board from SparkFun to one of the NXT sensor ports? Any help would really be appreciated.
Hello,
I am attempting to use your NXT2Excel software with Excel 2010 and the new version of RobotC. I cannot seem to get NXT2Excel working as the brick continually throws errors when I try to connect over Bluetooth. Do you know if NXT2Excel is compatible with the software I am using?
I developed NXT2excel on robotC 2.x and office 2007. I haven’t tested it on robotC 3.0.
The description of your problem makes me think it is not compatible with robotC 3.0.

Your Blog contains barrow loads of quality LEGO® Mindstorms NXT related Information. From Sensor Reviews, Programming Techniques, and detailed How-To’s on getting the best from all your Mindstorms NXT Sensors. There is detail information on Sensor Programming Techniques for many Languages.
I’m very envious of your tutorials and programming prowess. Congratulations!!
P.S.
Thank you for organising the dIMU sensor from Dexter Industries Competition.
It was very thoughtful of you, and I can’t wait for it to arrive!
I really like your Agilis bot with the Kiwi Drive. I’d like to build one like this myself. Would you like to share some more pictures of your construction? I would really appreciate that. The designs I came up with so far are quite instable. Thanks 😉
I will publish some building instructions (photo’s) for you and others. But you need a little patience. The flash light of my camera is broken so I need to wait for a bright day without work to shoot the pictures.

You can have The source if you want to. But I do think you have a problem somewhere because I get about 200-500 updates a second.

hi. does this nxt2excel software works on a x64bit windows OS?..
I don’t know. I haven’t got 64 bit OS. Why don’t you try?
Shall we start making guesses about the new sensor you are working on with Dexter Industries? I am going to guess a light intensity sensor….

Aswin
is the nxt to excel file still available? Current links take me to a north face website and not a dwonload page.
I think it doesn’t work with current excel versions. I might still have it somewhere.
